Check out our completed Kitchen renovation in Linlithgow, Scotland. ​

After having a bad experience with their previous architect some years ago they were reluctant to do any more work to their home.

But after meeting me at their lovely home, I’m very pleased to say they were really excited to work with me at Scribble Architecture!

We stripped out the existing kitchen and reconfigured most of their downstairs floor plan. They want it to feel cosier and more geared towards family life. We designed a modern kitchen with all the mod-cons, re-designed the Dining area and brought the two spaces together.

In addition to this, we removed the old doors and fit a new set of bi-fold doors leading out from their existing extension into their garden and also removed the set of internal double doors and widened their opening between the Kitchen / Dining area into their extension to make the space feel more open, modern and much brighter!

At the moment, although the spaces in the home are quite well laid out, they feel a bit disjointed. I wanted to bring the different spaces together to make the home feel more cohesive without going full-on ‘open plan living’ as this is not what my client is looking for.​

We are all so pleased with how this project turned out.
